What makes Greenlight
Advisors different?
Greenlight Advisors works with businesses in three distinct
areas: Regulated utilities, deregulated utilities, and contract
compliance.
Even if you have just signed a contract with a utility
marketer, Greenlight will analyze the contract to insure the
accuracy and total implementation of the terms of the contract.
How much is this going
to cost our company?
With the regulated utilities, we work strictly at risk, with no up-front
fees. If we don't find savings, you owe us nothing. Our fees come strictly
from your savings and/or refunds.
Does your company sell
any products?
No. We work with rates only. We will not approach you to buy new lighting
fixtures, energy systems, or water saving devices. We just don't deal
in those types of things.
How long does this
process take?
Much depends on how many accounts are involved and how quickly we can
get the data. We begin our analysis immediately after obtaining
the data.
When do we expect
to see results?
Once our recommendations are accepted, the rate changes usually go into
effect within the second billing cycle. In deregulated areas and
solid waste, changes depend on the expiration dates of any existing
contracts.
I don't think I can
save money on utilities we only have one electric company to
choose from. Why should I bother?
Except in areas that have implemented deregulation, there is only one
electric company to deal with. However, within that utility there are
often several rates to choose from, and within those rates there are
sub-rates, and sometimes more sub-rates within those. And don't forget
about errors in billing.
Why would my utility
company not put me on the best rate to begin with?
One of the very first paragraphs in each utility company's Rules and
Regulations is a rule that states very clearly that when two or more
rates are applicable to a customer's situation, it is up to the customer
to make sure they are on the right rate. That is one of the main
reasons we are in business.
My water and sewage
bills are sky high, but we pay this as part of our rent to the property
management service. Can anything be done?
Even if you don't directly pay for water and sewage, bills that are
incorrect will effect your rent. It is in your best interest to
encourage your property management company to let us analyze the bills
so that your rent does not go up.
What if you find that
I'm undercharged? Will my bills go up?
No! We work for you, not the utility.
If I like your service, is
there any incentives for me to pass your name on?
References are always welcome. If a lead that you provide results
in a new client, we are more than happy to reward your actions, based
on the savings.
